JLD was founded by two best friends and trained dancers Jo Eustace and Lucy Bamford in 1991. They set up the school in a small hall before finding the studios we now use today. They have sent numerous students to top performing arts schools as well as many attending The Royal Ballet School and Elmhurst.

Jo and Lucy are the reason we have the school and it’s wonderful premises today. Jo and Lucy welcomed Hayley to the team in 2010 and the rest is history…
