Classical Ballet

Ballet has been defined as the foundation of dance technique. Techniques that are often used in other dance styles and genres meaning that a dancer will benefit greatly from a classical under pinning. At JLD we follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus for both Graded and Vocational examinations. Classes with our experienced Ballet tutors Miss Chris and Miss Payne start from 2.5yrs (see Baby Ballet for more details) and cater for students up to 18yrs.
