What to expect in September...
Coming back into the studio is exciting but we also want to make sure that our dancers and teachers feel as safe as possible. With that in mind we will be putting in a few new rules from September.
One Way System
There will be a new one way system for entering and exiting the buidling.
Enter - Through the main door at reception
Exit - Through the door in the waiting room
Are you displaying symptoms?
If you answer yes to any of the following you must not attend class and can join via a zoom link.
- Been to an affected country in the last 14 days
- Been in contact with some diagnosed with coronavirus (covid 19)
- Have a cough, fever or shortness of breath
Drop Off/Pick Up
We ask that students over 11yrs old be dropped off at reception and picked up at the back of the building (as per one way system).
Students under 11yrs we ask that only one parent/guardian accompanies you. If dropping off and leaving you will also need to pick up at the back of the building.
There will be no waiting allowed in reception.
Social Distancing
When students arrive for their lesson they will be asked to bring their bags and belongings into class with them (so keep it as light as possible). This is so we can reduce the need to exit class and cause traffic in the corridors.
They will be shown markers on the barres and floors and how to use them as well as being given hand sanistiser on the way in and out.
Please wear a mask
Students/parents/guardians (over the age of 11yrs) will be asked to wear face masks in all areas of the building apart from the studios where possible. Students will not be asked to wear a mask in class unless they would like to.
Please note that the waiting room capacity will be restricted to ensure social distancing.
Facilities
Do your best to use your facilities at home before you come. This means you should already be changed and ready for you class when you arrived and where possible refrain from using the studio toilets.
Toilets will still be open but anything you can do to reduce the amount of traffic in the corriders and washrooms is extremely helpful.
If you have any questions about the above please get in contact with us by emailing info@jldschoolofdancing.co.uk. You can view our COVID 19 Risk Assessment here and our Health & Saftey Policy here.
